This Week's Menu 4/2

What a week! My 7 year old son broke his jaw over spring break and this week he's recovering at home on a liquid diet. His jaw is wired shut as he heals so I'll be blending different smoothies for him every day. I've still got 2 other boys and a hungry husband so I have to make dinners as usual for the rest of us.

Weekly Menu Plan
Monday: Tacos
Tuesday: Baked Salmon, rice, steamed broccoli
Wednesday: Crockpot Roast with carrots, potatoes
Thursday: Burgers, Homemade Buns
Friday: Meat Ravioli with homemade marinara sauce
Saturday lunch:  Ribs and salad
Saturday dinner: Pizza
Easter Sunday: Crockpot Spiral Ham (still figuring out my Easter sides...)

Snacks: Blueberry Protein Shake, a variety of smoothies, Pear sauce

What are you eating this week? Any good Easter recipes?

K5 Learning

Online reading and math for kindergarten to grade 5 | K5 Learning

K5 Learning has an online reading and math program for kindergarten to grade 5 students. My 7 year old, Braden broke his jaw last week and will be home from school for a week or more. I decided to try this program as a great way for him to stay challenged in his reading and math. My 10 year old could also use more challenges and he loves playing computer games so I hope he'll enjoy K5 as well.

I've been given a 6 week free trial to test and write a review of their program. If you are a blogger, you may want to check out their open invitation to write an online learning review of their program.
